What is Facebook Re-Targeting?





If customer visits your website after clicking on a Facebook ads, they may not always complete an action such as purchases of goods or giving you their contact details. Facebook re-targeting is a great way to get reach more people and more ROI from your first-buyer web cookie data. One easiest way to remarket  to people that have already visited your website is by using your Facebook pixel, formally known as the Custom Audience pixel, to create a Custom Audience from your website. The aim of remarketing  is to place your business top of mind. The users rarely buy from you the first time they visit your Website or see any special deal. It would prefer take their time, match your price with same another industry and visit your Website a few more times before finalized that valuable sale.



Create a Facebook pixel

It is essential to identify who visited your website so that you can easily retarget Facebook users, and create a Facebook pixel on your site. So you'll use this Custom Audience pixel if you've already Install Pixel, and move lightly to step 2.

a) Choose Tools from the top menu.
b) Choose Pixels > Facebook Pixel.
c) Choose Create a Pixel.
d) Give your pixel a name. It only took one pixel per ads account, so choose a name that represents your brand.
e) Choose Create Pixel.


Create an Audience

For once your pixel has been inserted on your website, you can establish an audience based on who visited your website.

a) Go to Ads Manager.
b) Choose Tools, then click audiences.
c) Choose Create Audience.
d) Click Custom Audience.
e) Choose Website Traffic.
f) Give your Custom Audience a name, click a Website Traffic option and Choose Create Audience.

Create Advert

The only way to access your Custom Audience from your website at every minute in the Audiences tab in Ads Manager.

a) Click Create Advert next to the audience that you want to target.
b) Choose your advertising objective, such as getting more clicks to your website or conversion rate, by setting up the rest of your Ads.
c) Choose Continue. You can click to advertise your Page, brand, website, event and then select the audience, budget, images and text for your ad before placing your order.
